	Rev. Donald Roemer United Press International May 30, 1981 Rev. Donald Roemer, religious instructor at St. Paschal's Baylon Catholic Church in Thousand Oaks, was committed to Atascadero State Hospital late Friday by a Superior Court judge as a mentally disordered sex offender. The priest pleaded no contest to three counts of molesting boys under his care. Judge Robert Shaw said the seriousness of the charges weighed heavily in his decision to send Roemer to the state facility despite defense arguments it would not be fitting for incarceration of a priest. Court documents, released early Saturday, showed that Roemer admitted to 30 such molestations over an 11 year period.
