Twice-accused priest Fr. Joseph Jiang was in and out of court this morning in record time accompanied by eight supporters. Though scheduled to appear before Judge Theresa Counts Burke at 9:01 a.m., the priest and his lawyer entered a “not guilty” plea at 8:58 a.m. and quickly brushed by Channel 2 reporter Anthony Kiekow and cameraman with a “no comment”. . .Walnut Grill has bowed in the space previously occupied by Chevy’s Fresh Mex in Ellisville. . .The good old days, when you could eat your way through lunch at the late Steve Apted’s Cheshire. Now, the cool spot’s Restaurant at the Cheshire has debuted lunch hours with specialties created by vet chef Bryan Hale under the supervision of Pat Wamhoff. There’s even a children’s menu. . .New to us is the sea bass with salsa, which we savored at Anna and Paul Sanfilippo’s J.F. Sanfilippo’s on North Broadway near Washington Avenue. Just missed Justin Timberlake’s mom, Lynn Harless, who supped there with Justin’s step-dad.
