Kalispell Priest Faces Sexual Abuse of Children Charges

KALISPELL- A Kalispell Catholic priest has been arrested on charges of sexual abuse of children. Rudy Bullman was charged back in late February, but had been on administrative leave since December 16, 2011.

Court documents state the case began after a handheld gaming system, sold by Bullman, was found to have photographs of nude boys on it.

Bullman was the Catholic priest at Risen Christ Parish in Evergreen for more than 10 years and if he's convicted on the charges, Bullman could face up to 10 years in prison.

"When the diocese was made aware that Father Bullman was under investigation, by the Flathead County Attorneys Office, he was placed on administrative leave, on that same day. This is a sad and difficult event, and through this the diocese remains absolutely committed to creating a safe environment for our children and young people," Diocese of Helena Community Relations Director Renee St. Martin Wiseman said.

Father Rudolph Bullman is scheduled to be arraigned in Flathead District Court on March 29th.
