	Archdiocese Urges Victims of Ex-Priest to Contact It The Associated Press, carried in News-Sentinel [Indianapolis IN] June 5, 2006 http://www.fortwayne.com/mld/newssentinel/news/local/14746674.htm The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Indianapolis does not comment on pending child abuse lawsuits in which it is a defendant, but has issued the following statement: "The Archdiocese of Indianapolis continues to urge people to come forward if they have been a victim of sexual misconduct by Harry Monroe or any person ministering on behalf of the Church. "Information about reporting sexual misconduct is available on the archdiocesan Web site (http://www.archindy.org), in our policy booklet, 'To Be Safe and Secure,' and in ads that appear periodically in The Criterion, the archdiocesan newspaper. "The archdiocese has published information about the lawsuits concerning Harry Monroe in The Criterion, which is delivered to all Catholic households, and in letters and bulletin inserts made available to the parishes where Monroe served. All of our pastors have been made aware of the allegations and asked to forward any information to the archdiocese. "Anyone who believes that he or she has been a victim or who knows of anyone who has been a victim of such misconduct should contact the archdiocesan victim assistance coordinator, Suzanne L. Yakimchick, Chancellor, Archdiocese of Indianapolis, P.O. Box 1410, Indianapolis, Indiana 46206-1410, 317-236-7325 or 800-382-9836, ext. 7325."
