JACKSON, Miss. -- A Jackson pastor is accused of sexually assaulting a 5-year-old girl who is a relative.

Hinds County sheriff's deputies arrested 32-year-old William Rudolph on Tuesday Night after a week-long investigation.

He was arrested in front of a house where he was living on William Drive in Jackson.

Rudolph is the pastor of the City of Refuge Deliverance Ministry.

Rudolph is charged with two counts of sexual assault.

Detectives said the victim told someone about the alleged sexual abuse and that person told the girl's mother who took her to the hospital and called police.

"This is not a predator walking the streets looking for a child to snatch what we're trying to say here is that this is a child he had access to. The child knew," said Hinds County Sheriff Malcolm McMillin.

McMillin said Rudolph plays piano at several churches in town including Christian United on Methodist Home Road.

McMillin said they are not currently investigating any further allegations against Rudolph.

Rudolph is married with three children but WAPT was told he is not currently living with them.

WAPT tried to call the City of Refuge church for a response but the phone number was disconnected.
