	Woman Sues over Alleged Sexual Abuse by Priest WOI [Iowa] July 13, 2005 DES MOINES, Iowa The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Dubuque faces another lawsuit over allegedly sexual abuse by a priest. In a lawsuit filed this week in U-S District Court in Cedar Rapids, a woman claims she was sexually abused by the Reverend Patrick McElliott in 1964 when he was a pastor of St. Patrick parish in Colesburg. McElliott died in 1987. Four earlier lawsuits named McElliott, alleging he abused girls while at St. John's school in Waterloo and at St. Patrick in 1963. McElliott served parishes as pastor and administrator in Coggon, Waterloo, Colesburg, Dubuque and Andrew. He was also chaplain at Mercy Hospital in Dubuque in the late 1960s.
