BOSTON -- A Catholic priest pleaded guilty Tuesday to sexually abusing two students in the late 70s while he was a coach at Boston College High School.NewsCenter 5's Amalia Barreda reported that the Rev. James Talbot pleaded guilty to five charges, including rape assault with intent to rape and assault and battery. The victims were two of his students more than 30 years ago.

Prosecutor Audrey Mark told the judge that Talbot used to hold what he called aggression drills to toughen the boys up.

"On some of these occasions, the defendant gave the student beer. The wrestling sessions often began with the defendant and the student fully clothed. As the students became more involved in the wrestling, the defendant often convinced him to wear less and less clothing. In this context, the defendant actually assaulted two of the victims," Mark said.

Talbot will be formally sentenced later this month.
