	Trial of Accused Priest Is Scheduled for Jan. 3 Des Moines Register October 10, 1995 Carroll, Ia. The trial of a Roman Catholic priest accused of touching the clothing covering the breast of a teen-ager has been set for early next year. A Carroll County District Court judge has scheduled the trial of the Rev. Gerald Anthony Hartz to begin Jan. 3. Hartz, 62, pastor at St. Lawrence Church in Carroll, is charged with indecent contact with a minor. He allegedly touched the clothing covering the breast of a 13-year-old during a conversation at St. Lawrence Church on Sept. 13.
