Lammers, a Louisville native, was born in 1907, ordained in 1932 and died
in 1986, according to the archdiocese. He is accused of abuse in two lawsuits
from his tenure at the St. Thomas-St. Vincent Orphanage in Anchorage.
Lammers lived there and was chaplain. The lawsuits refer to "St.
Thomas Home-St. Vincent Home-Our Lady's Home for the Infants," as
the location where the plaintiffs lived. According to the archdiocese,
Our Lady's Home was a separate facility and was not in Anchorage.
