Demand Letter from Paul Cultrera | Page 1

This demand letter alleges abuse by Rev. Joseph E. Birmingham in 1964, when
Cultrera was a 15-year-old altar boy at St. James parish in Salem MA. Cultrera
had met with Sr. Rita McCarthy and Rev. John B. McCormack about this allegation
on August 18, 1994. See McCarthy's memo
describing that meeting. For subsequent events leading up to the claim letter,
